About

Hello, I’m Sandra your
Yoga instructor

I am both an anthropologist and yoga instructor, and it is my research experience working against sexual harassment that eventually led me to teach to enable the safest practice opportunities possible for yoga practitioners. I’m not a therapist but understand the possibilities of yoga practice in working through trauma.

I want to contribute towards making yoga accessible to everyone who wants to practice and hope to work with people to show how yoga can work for everybody. My practice and teaching are mainly grounded in Ashtanga, but I’m also interested in Yin yoga.

I’m also a non-tactile yoga instructor and hope to begin teaching in French and Arabic as well as English shortly.

I completed my 200 hours with Meadowlark Yoga Studio in Edinburgh, as well as a 50-hour Trauma Informed Training facilitated by Edinburgh Community Yoga. I have also completed a 100 hour Yin and Restorative Training and am in the process of completing my 300 hour Teacher Training.
